Opinions: will T.Lawrence be a bust?

I know the Jaguars suck and had Urban Meyer to make it worse. After watching his play for a full season, what do you think. Being the most highly touted QB in his draft class and appeared to have all the intangibles, had a pretty rough season.

Does this prove that a QB drafted #1 is still a crap shoot or will he rebound next season.

Just never know what the future brings in a rookie....no matter drafted first or twenty.

Not comparing the two, but when you go number 1 overall...you typically don't have a first couple years like Burrow.

Jags had/have a lot of holes in their roster. For 8th straight years, they haven't had one comp pick. Pretty telling how bad their franchise has been for years.

Don't know, but I will say that I was never that big a fan of him.

Not saying that he's bad or anything, but with all the hype that I constantly heard about him I expected a virtual football god.

Then whenever I actually saw him play, I saw good, but I didn't see god.

So is he a bust? Probably not, but I do feel like he's been badly overhyped.

He’s had one year on a team that got the 1st pick two seasons a row. 
He’ll be fine once he gets off the Jaguars.

Define "bust". Honestly, given his enormous hype if he doesn't develop into an MVP caliber QB then yeah, he's kind of a bust.

I watched every game he played at Clemson, and while he never produced many "oh my god holy sh-t this guy is insane" moments, he consistently played at an extremely high level and almost always did enough to win. So if you only watch one game expecting to have your socks blown off, you probably won't, but his body of work speaks for itself. Now, let's see what he can do in the NFL with a proper head coach.

It's way too premature to throw around the b word with regards to guys like Lawrence and Wilson, but for such highly touted prospects, you can't argue that their rookie seasons were not disappointing/discouraging.

I'd welcome him struggling this year and being on the trade block so we can kick the tires. 

Don't think he's a bust at all, he just has little to no help, WRs dropping balls last year, bad coaching & dysfunction, etc.
