The hands down GOAT NFL owner of all time...

...Mr. Robert Kraft 👊

I don't know if you're trolling or serious. I knew someone would say this guys name. But, I don't want my owner getting charged with soliciting prostitutes. On video at that. Not model behavior.

"At Orchids, according to the Jupiter police, Kraft paid cash to the spa’s co-owner, Lei Wang, who goes by Lulu, and received a hand job from her and another worker, later identified as Shen Mingbi. After Kraft ejaculated, Mingbi wiped his penis with a white towel. Then she and Lulu helped him get dressed."

Here is my hot take

Ownership is overrated

I can’t remember what I was listening to it might have been PFT but they brought up no one cares about ownership unless you’re winning. Jerry Jones pioneered the “hands on” owner which was great when there was no Salary cap but look at the cowboys now.

People love the owner in good times and boo and hiss in bad times. Tom Benson was a spec away from staying in San Antonio but the Alice types won’t bring that up.

There are true bad guys like Snyder in this league but overall the owner signs the Checks.

Pegula had an atrocious start as an owner. Worse than tepper.

Tepper has had a really atrocious start himself, and doesn't have any type of success to show for it. But, point taken (read below).

Eh. Plenty of Bills fans had issues with him early on, especially when you tie in how he's destroyed the Sabres.

I mean, fans are going to have issues sometimes. When you say "early on", are you talking year three like we have here? I'm speaking solely football of course (but, yeah, they haven't improved the Sabers yet, but it's a more difficult task).

Tepper is going into his 4th season (and it's technically his 5th). I know that at least on the Bills side of things, they are doing a lot better than us. I guess for Bills-Sabers fans it's a little more complex and difficult to separate what the Pegulas have done on the football side from the hockey side.

Where I will fully admit my ignorance is the fact that they are making noises about to Austin, but many people believe that's just a ploy to strongarm Buffalo and taxpayers for new facilities. Tepper hasn't said anything like that this far, but his recent actions, including his silence, has me very uncomfortable.

He's serious. Guy worships the rich.

I feel like if he's gonna come out in such defiant opposition to signing Deshaun because of current allegations, then saying that Kraft is his ideal owner would be the pure definition of doublethink.

Is consent a concept you are familiar with?

If not for one very lucky 6th round pick, its doubtful many people would even know who Kraft is.

well he would still be an NFL owner so probably some people would.

To answer the question, I don't think there are really any good owners. I think there are only bad ones. A good owner is one who doesn't cause any problems for the team to operate.

The ones that came to mind were Bisciotti, Rooney, and Kraft without the scandals (pure ownership perspective).

Most owners evolve.  Some start out like a kid with a new toy, that does not work and they figure out they make the same money whether they tinker, dictate, or watch and watching allows them to devote their time to other things, money-making or not.

Then there is Jerry Jones.

I have to admit I know almost nothing about Seattle's ownership.  I don't hear much, so that is a plus.

My belief on owners is that their job is to count money.  The NFL delivers it in box cars, and owners should stay out of football operations and count the money.  If they want, they can take their shoes off and wade into it.  Otherwise, the less I hear the better.  Tom Benson used to dance on the field after a Saints win, and that is a fine way to get a few minutes of "face time" that is harmless, unless the players have to avoid him while he is dancing and they are running off the field.  But, that is about as much interaction as I think an owner should have with the football operations, other than holding the people that run the football operations accountable for the results.

Obviously. I just find it strange that you're so ardently against Deshaun, but so admiring of Robert Kraft. Seems like you wouldn't be, even if the women in the Kraft case gave their consent.

Unless of course there are other reasons why you like Kraft. He is a billionaire after all.
