Round 2-3 predictions. Do the Panthers get a pick,?

A tough one to call. They must be tempted to take one of these QBs at the top of round 2, but they’ll have to give up more draft capital to get one of them than they would if they trade for Mayfield or Jimmy.

I think it’s more likely they decide to trade for Mayfield or Jimmy.

I don't think so because what are they trading to move up that high?

Our 4th rounder is a comp pick, so it's right there at the end of the 4th.  We'll have to start moving future draft assets and players.  I'm not sure we're ready to pull that trigger unless someone wants to eat a big fat contract like Sam's or CMC's (who I am against trading).

Nah, we made our bed with the trades for Sam and for the talented yet unproven CB.  Let's try to actually keep next year's draft intact as much as possible.  We can still find good value players in the 4-6 rounds this year due to the COVID push.

While it's not fun as a fan, it's the right thing to do.

I think so.  I can see something like us giving up a 2023 3rd rounder, 2022 5th rounder, and Robby Anderson for a mid 2nd rounder this year to grab a QB.  Keep an eye out on NE and GB as potential trade partners

Agreed, based on the day 1 WR trades, I could see Robby to a WR starved team. Not expecting it, but I wouldn’t be shocked

If that's the trade I'd do it all day long. More likely scenario is we'd have to trade our first next year for a second rounder this year and I am not about that at all. If we give up a first for any of these qbs I'll be PISSED

You know logic has no place here, correct?

If we’re talking purely draft picks it’s probably going to take a 2023 2nd, 3rd and a 2022 4th or 5th to move into the back end of the second round/top of the third round. That’s way too much for one of these QBs when they could probably get Mayfield for a 2022 4th or 5th.
