How is it a fiasco? Seems like he made a great decision and is now one of the highest paid players in the NFL.

The linked article is from last year.  I am assuming that since the value of bitcoin has dropped, the op is implying that Okung's portfolio is no longer worth what it once was.

He was paid in December 2020 if I am reading this right. The price at the time was between 26k and 32k. It is now 29k. So yes if he held BTC this whole time he probably hasn't lost much. And he may have cashed in at 64k for all we know.

Great thread!

Why? BC looks like the backup LT and Ickey is the starter. Both our options are healthier and have careers in front of them and not behind. Or is this just so we can pay another LT with his good days behind him while being injured half the time? I would say we have Erving to fill that spot but I'm not sure he ever had good days...

It was at the time Bitcoin was around $69k. It is now 30k.  He will hold on to it & still make bank.
