Let's draft Adam Morrison, let's draft Malik Monk instead of Donovan Mitchell, let's draft MKG...

MJ, your decisions are crap, let your GM do his damn job. Who in the hell are you going to hire now?  He better be head and shoulders better than Borrego since your emotions decided to can him.

What a cluster this is.

I mean, MJ has let Mitch pretty much take over and our drafts have been fantastic over the last couple of years lol

Yes, he has. But wasn't the Borrego firing all him?  I know Mitch is covering for him, but this seems an MJ decision. When MJ "interferes", bad things go down.

Borrego was what he was.  We saw his ceiling as a coach, and it wasn't pretty.  We need a new coach and although this is embarrassing, it probably is for the best because Atkinson is a bum and D'Antoni and Snyder are better options.

More embarrassing things happening for Charlotte sports, although personally I wanted D'Antoni much more than Atkinson so hopefully this plays out like it did for the Colts getting a much better HC after McDaniels pulled this poo on them. fug Kenny A

Yeah it is bs because this dude should've never  accepted the offer or went through with the  other interviews we gave him. It's draft week and now it's forcing Mitch to see which direction  goes best with new coach. Btw... hope we don't go after Looney... im tired of neglecting the 5 position  with just guys.

Crazy how going from down 2-1 in the NBA Finals to 4-2 and NBA Champions changes someone's mind so quickly. I liked the idea of Atkinson as coach but he just let his true colors show. The guy is a coward à la Josh McDaniels. Guy went from being ready to jump ship when he thought the Warriors may lose in the finals to "Oh wait I'm getting a ring? Nevermind, fug Charlotte. Bay Area for life". What a giant pussy.

Atkinson’s heart wasn’t in it from the start, whatever, I didn’t want him anyway and I’m personally glad that he isn’t going to be our head coach. However, that fact that he was able to deceive our higher ups when it should have been obvious that his heart wasn’t truly in it is concerning. It leads credence to the belief that our front office has no idea how to hire a competent head coach.

    • He can’t.  Not by NFL standards.  More than enough evidence at this stage to make that determination.  For even a chance at one Bryce has to get perfect look and that’s not NFL football.  Bryce’s ball placement and accuracy are horrible downfield.  That applied at Bama.  Bama WRs just had room to adjust.  Bryce defenders just repeat this lie about his Bama deep ball.  NFL balls have to be well placed to dudes only NFL open.  Countless plays for years where dudes are NFL open downfield and Bryce just lets the DB have just as good as a shot at it or takes the WR out of bounds.  It’s not a debate.  Dudes flat out open this year on repeat.  He can’t make the throws.  So the talk about not having speed is auto debunked and a distraction.  Open is open and Bryce has gotten the looks
    • In 2021, Young only completed 10 passes of 20 yards or more, resulting in a 36.1% completion rate on such throws, according to AL.com. This was significantly less than other Alabama quarterbacks like Mac Jones in 2020 (29 completions, 58%) and Tua Tagovailoa in 2018 (24 completions, 57.1%).
    • False. During his best statistical season at Alabama, Bryce completed only 36.1% of passes longer than 20 yards. For comparison, his two predecessors Mac Jones and Tua had respectively completed 58% and 48.6% of throws longer than 20 yards.
