What would it take for you to be a fan of Rhule and Tepper?

Winning consistently if the bar is for me to become a fan.  Not sure I can become a fan of an owner, but okay.

I'll stop equating Rhule with Moe, Larry, and Curley rolled into one if he demonstrates he is a competent NFL HC.  He looked completely lost last year.  I need to see some improvement and results and not hear BS that would make an infomercial spokesman proud.

Right now, to me, he is a college HC cashing NFL paychecks.

I'm a fan of Tepper (I'm not not a fan). Rhule? He's got to start winning and field a team where guys that deserve to play are playing, and guys that don't are benched (before it's just a necessity due to injuries). Rhule must coach appropriately as well. If I get the sense that he's just going through the motions, or is unable to adapt, I will lead the "firing squad" myself. This is year three. No excuses!

Tepper firing Rhule and Rhule taking his pooshow elsewhere.

Rhule is terrible, there is no saving that. Too little of the positives and heaps of negatives. Leaving is winning with Rhule.

If Tepper can appropriately hire a semi-competent HC and get out of the way it would do wonders instantaneously. His current failure still has training wheels on in year 3 for fugs sake.

2-3+ straight winning seasons/playoffs AND/OR Super Bowl win.

I don't want more of the same from the JR era, having some really great seasons surrounded by mediocrity (or trash like 2010 and 2001) with no consistency from season to season but still not winning it all in our great seasons.

    • Spoiler alert - he has none of those. Picture a less athletic Anthony Richardson with a weaker arm - that is what he is.
    • Funny enough, those good games Rico had were when Canales finally put BC at RG. Once BC got hurt, our run game turned to crap again (outside of the GB outlier game)
    • When I say elite, I am talking Bowers and Tony Gonzalez type can't miss prospects. The ones that are the complete package (good athleticism, good blocking, knows how to position body for contested catches, able to run a complete route tree). I also wasn't big on Warren last year (although he at least had the college production) and wasn't sure on Loveland (didn't do enough research on him but was impressed with his route running). I just think TE is a luxury pick for us with how many positions we have that are void of talent. Now, if Sadiq is the best player (by a good margin) our front office thinks is available at 19, then I understand taking him. My worries with Sadiq is if he has to be used like a Pitts, Engram, etc. type TE where they get lined up in the slot because they can't block LBs or Dlinemen. And if that is what happens, it's pretty much like drafting an athletic tall receiver that isn't capable of running a complete route tree. And for how many freaks do we have... you do realize we drafted bum ass XL because we thought he was an athletic freak. Turns out that athleticism doesn't mean crap when you are dumb as rocks, can't run routes, and can't catch the ball...  I feel like we have been drafting guys that are displaying elite athleticism at the combine over college production (and I think that has shown why a lot of our drafts prior to last year have sucked)
