Matt Corral looked so bad.

I usually don't talk about rookies, especially in preseason games, but that was a sad showing from him.

It's Baker or bust. Third year in a row we're betting on a cast-off quarterback. This owner, and entire front office has to go.

Corral doesn’t even get 3rd string reps 

He could have been given every rep in training camp.  That doesnt mean he would have been ready.  This isnt madden.  He is going to take time, not just reps.

Still dont think he is that bad, needs a better line and just more playing time.  I suspect we see that on friday.  No way we can keep feeding walker reps

      To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.

      Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
