I still think our best combo would be

RG- Corbett

RT- Moton

Gotta flip BC and Ickey

We took Ickey with the 6th pick of the draft, if BC was going to be good enough to be our starting LT, then we completely wasted the 6th pick of the draft on someone we're using as a Guard.

If the plan is to play BC at LT for a little while and then move Ickey out there, then do it now, there is no point in bringing him along slowly.  Even if he has to take some lumps early on, he was the 6th pick, he's our LT of the future, stop playing him at Guard.

Icky looked a bit lost in pass coverage

He was a monster in the ground game though until he can refine his PB technique @aussiePanther is definitely right about the best combo.... he's probably still a week 1 all pro caliber LG this season.

BC is a LT to bad they didn't see that last yr. He is a better T then G, but probably the best we have at LG now.

The 2nd team with Sam and PJ in was the real left side.  I liked Mays at RG and Brown at LG they may be good dept or someone to push for that LG spot down the road.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
