Really happy all those former panthers coaches and front office staff in Buffalo are doing well

Rivera is just a bad head coach that stayed 5 to 6 years too long. There is a reason why he was passed over time and time again before we hired him. Without Cam and Luke, 2013 wouldve been his final year. Just look at Washington now that he has no one to bail him out. He truely disgusts me with how he ran this team and wasted so much potential.

I think he is a lifer Defensive Coordinator, not a true head coach.

McDermott's second year was 6-10. They built a winning team in 3 years and a SB contender in 5.

Bills made it to the playoffs McD's first year, Allen missed 5 games the 2nd 6-10 year with Peterman/Barkley/Anderson playing, they have been a playoff team since year two if you look at the roster construction.  They've been a high end playoff team since 2019 and a SB contender since 2020.

It also illustrates how silly it is to be dismissive any time we sign or trade for a player from a losing franchise.  It's always "wow what are we thinking trying to emulate a losing franchise".

As bad as the Panthers have been as of recently there is a big difference between the Bills scooping up former Panthers of yesteryear versus trying to find diamonds on the Jets/Jags rosters.

That’s not inherently a bad thing to do though.

It’s buying low on high draft picks from shitty teams.

Henderson/Shenault would still have been high draft picks if the Jags didn’t draft them.

Sam was a fug up especially at the price, but they failed taking a swing. I can disagree with the price but appreciate taking a chance.

I truly hope when the rhule experience ends that tepper takes note and gives the new coach time to develop a qb.   Its obvious bills plan for allen worked amazingly.   Let a new coach and gm evaluate and choose a guy and keep the core group of coaches in tact to develop and not change out every season.  That seems to be the key for rookie qbs.  Put them in stable situations.

You mean, like he's giving his coach time to develop?

If there is another team engaging in multiple trades to swipe talent from the vaunted Jets and the Jaguars I'm unaware.

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
