I think Matt Rhule gets one more game

I want to agree, Phil, but even for the most patient person, I just don't see how Tepper didn't can Rhule after last season.  This is beyond overkill now.  These 2 weeks have been completely expected and yet simultaneously unbearable.  I think he's going to be here way past his expiration and the season will already be lost...  I just can't shake the fact Tepper brought him back in the first place, and every week we see more evidence of Rhule not having any idea what he's doing, and he comes back the next week and does the same thing or worse.  It is the most hopeless I have ever felt as a fan.

Fire Rhule and Snow walks.... that's fine.

Let Wilks take over the Defense.  I'd love to have him as HC, but I feel that would hurt the D too much.  Have Ryan move from QB coach to HC.  Make Macadoo earn it on the play calling.

If Wilks can turn the D into what they are capable of give him consideration at HC in 2023.

It's obvious they are not going to make it to next year, rip off the band-aid.

Seifert gave us 1999. Had no defense but our offense was so entertaining to watch, and we didn’t even make the playoffs but it came down to the last week tiebreaker.

One of my most nostalgic years. Moose. Walls. Jeffers.

Oh yeah, proof that you don’t always have to win to be entertained and excited about the team.

I don’t understand the defensive philosophy for the play calls after the Panthers went up by a touchdown. It seemed like the team went in to prevent as if they were up by multiple touchdowns. They should’ve maintained the pressure that they were showing before that touchdown.

Looked like the giants began running a lot of misdirection and took advantage of the defense over pursuing.

coincidentally, that is exactly how the giants beat Carolina last season with a different coaching staff.

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
