Are we at the lowest point in panthers history?

The 1-15 season sucked but we beat a stacked Vikings team in week 1 so there was a little bit of hope for a couple weeks. 2010 we knew where we were at talent wise so it was easier accept. This year is the worst because we have skilled players and everyone who follows the sports knows we need a coaching change besides our owner so it’s more frustrating

I think it might be. The reason is that we still don’t know if things will change. The 1-15 season we kind of new changes would come. Once Rhule is fired this will no longer be the worst, then we can focus on players improving etc. and look for the little stuff that would set us up for the next year.

at least if people are booing and complaining, they still care. it's when things are silent that things are bad. and to expect everyone to just be happy and excited and cheering when things are bad is just insane. being a fan doesn't mean delusionally and deliriously happy... i mean it can, but it doesn't have to mean that. being a fan means that you can get pissed when things are bad.

what we are looking at now, though, is that there are a lot of us that are crossing that line from being pissed to being apathetic, which isn't good....but when you're status quo is 5 wins a season and you don't look like you can even reach that level and there's no indication from official channels that things are going to change that, apathy is to be expected.

Every bit of what he says is true

I guess the owner that calls us

‘basement dwellers’ disagrees

A lot of people who do not go through the weekly stadium ritual don’t get it either

    • How many elite QBs do we have right now in the league? And how elite are they, really? Mahomes - I seriously doubt anyone would say otherwise. My only counterpoint is that since Tyreek left, he has not been as explosive. Only one with a ring. Allen - Yes. His first year was rough, however, and even now, he's a turnover machine which has cost his team games. Wouldn't surprise me if he regresses as talent around him goes elsewhere. Burrow - Can say he got to a Super Bowl but injuries may be a concern. All those sacks he took may be coming back to bite the Bengals. Jackson/Prescott - Can't win in the playoffs even with rosters around them, so no. So there you go. At least in my eyes, there's only maybe 3 right now. And over the past 10 years, QBs not Mahomes/Brady that have won were (noodle arm) Manning, Nick Foles and Matthew Stafford. Even Stafford I'd argue was a one-shot because the Rams absolutely went all-in with talent.
    • Without Guentzel, the team has a better chance of being able to keep Jarvy long term, Noesen for another 2-3 years, Drury and Turbo maybe. And I'm saying that because I think Jarvis will make us forget about Guentzel.
