Where the hell is Foreman?

Yeah I've never really liked the Ricci as a fullback thing, decent as a TE though

He is traditionally an H-Back. I actually like him in that role.  I haven't watched him extensively at the TE role. Mainly him coming out of the backfield or stacked on the line.

What do you not like about him at FB?

We're paying CMC an incredible amount of money, and the other RBs are not good. I wouldn't take him out either.

They're paying Sam Darnold an incredible amount of money (this year).   He's currently riding the bench.   (my point is "his contract isn't the reason CMC is being overused")

Anyway, it's a good idea to play other RBs to, at the very least, give CMC a rest before they end up putting him on the IR....again.

EDIT : Just saw the report he has a quad injury.   well s--t.

I expect injury announcements for CMC weekly. The reason CMC is in there a lot is because coaching jobs are on the line.

So we have a difference of opinion. You want him to sit more to avoid injury, and I want to play him more and if he gets injured, so be it. Fair enough.

Foreman should see more snaps period. He is a powerful back who gets downhill. He has decent hands (way better than C.Hubbard) and he is decent in pass pro (was at least in Tenn.).

I think CMC should be on the field most of the time but the team could be smarter on how he is used and make the most of Foreman's skills too. allow cmc to chip more before going out as a check down option on passing plays- Let foreman take more pass pro reps having to go up againt blitzing LBs. Give him some carries on early downs or short yardage behind Tremble coming across the formation in motion and acting as a lead blaocker (especially behind Icky).

I also think that Bozeman at center would help open more holes in the middle for whoever is carrying the football (as long they don't fall down-ala Chubba)

Never seen a staff who has so much trouble using their players correctly.. it’s freakin baffling.

That's because there's never been a coaching staff as incompetent as this in NFL history. And, naturally, a Temple reject is the one who gave Rhule the game ball, because Rhule has extended -- and in many cases, created -- NFL careers for his Temple and Baylor losers.

    • I agree but he honestly has gotten better about this. Used to be he’d do it like 4-5 times a game, now it’s like 2-3. Overall I’m incredibly happy with his game, his D has been solid and when he is playing his role he’s a solid scorer and one of the few guys who can consistently finish at the rim and provide that threat. Plus he’s electric and LaMelo loves him. Going into the season I was sure he would just be a stop gap here but now I’m reconsidering and could see him continue to be a “core” piece here. Obviously not on the level of the other starters but he is an important cog for this team. We felt his missed presence during his and Moose’s suspensions.
    • Philly will be a bigger challenge than the Knicks were IMO. George and Embiid are back, not sure about Maxey but Embiid alone is a nightmare matchup for us and Moose. We’ve never really done well against him. Celtics added Tatum but honestly not sure they’re all that much better with him right now than they were when we whooped them a few weeks ago. We should be able to at the very least split these 2, hopefully take both.
