Wednesday, the best professional franchise in the state takes the ice for their season opener. Give hockey a chance. The Hurricanes are a very well coached, elite, and exciting team that is managed with a clear vision and owner that wants to win. They are set to be competitive for a long time and are legitimate Stanley Cup contenders.

Honestly guys, he is going to get fired, it’s a guarantee at this point. I know we like to rag on Tepper and joke he will keep Rhule around, but we all know he won’t.

At this point all we can do is watch games and other teams and keep hoping we keep that no 1 overall pick on lock down and also debate about new head coaching potentials.

do it tepper

Idk the offense has progressed. It's gone down every year. No additional progress that direction can be achieved, Matt's brand has peaked. sell high to the corn huskers.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
