Jesus Fowler. What a bitch move.

Also, bringing up the Angel Ramirez firing like it was a bad thing is horseshit. The players quit playing for him, the coaches quit coaching for him. Angel was a toxic piece of poo that treated everyone like they were dirt. Players literally stopped showing up to practice.

Fowler mad

Agreed with everything in the article except

“But Monday wasn’t a good day for anyone around the Panthers except the “Fire Matt Rhule” crowd, which got its wish and now probably wonders why it doesn’t feel any better.”

I actually feel a hell of a lot better, Mr. Fowler

Monday was Canadian Thanksgiving and I had one more thing to be thankful for, lol.

Rhule shoulda been fired last season but this is good enough.

"Specifically, what has changed between January, when you decided to keep Rhule for another season despite a 10-23 record, and October, when the Panthers started 1-4 but still had 12 games to go?"

What changed Mr. Fowler? You already know. The huddle has been in agony for two years.  What "changed" is the media, the public, the nation was pointing and laughing, finally 😉

Thank you to my fellow huddles for your hard work.

Remember, it was our movement that brought Cam back and b*tch a** Rhule ran a 2QB college system in spite.

anyone bypass the paywall for this juicy mandrama?

I just hit “subscribe later” or something and it let me read the whole thing.

gave Tepper props for building the soccer team (which was a resounding success in ticket sales), more than doubling the amount of events at BoA in under four years, and making the stadium feel more accessible to the average Joe.

Also ripped into him for blowing off his questions during the presser about why he decided now was the time to fire Rhule, not him sucking ass at the end of last season and whiffing.  About how we haven’t been good since 2018 when Cam got hurt.  Was critical of firing 3 head coaches mid-season, since he included the MLS coach.

Basically, he’s not Dan Snyder, but damn dude you have to start actually making good moves.

    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
    • Dude you are smart fan. 3 on 0 breakaways won’t matter who is in net. You gotta be better on this one.
    • Raiders are gonna get a good one. Rather have Mendoza fly out and play for the Panthers tomorrow than Bryce
