I watched Fitt talk up Sam in draft talk footage and he sold him hard. And his idiot scouts went along with kissing his ass and acting like Sam just needed a good system and coaching.

What was he supposed to say? Sam is garbage rhule made me trade for him? Joe Brady talked him up too…. Then we found out months later that joe Brady didn’t watch a single piece of tap on Sam bc he didn’t want to have “preconceived notions” on Sam’s capabilities.

The 49ers don’t travel back home for their east coast road trips. They stay in northern Virginia. They have been doing that for two years now so they don’t have to adjust to the hours or lose a day of practice due to travel.

so you can’t give them a traveling excuse. They flat out lost to the falcons. No excuses.

West Virginia 😁

I'm watching the rest of the league and they're all saying we got robbed. Saying here comes the fire sale.

Whoever is saying that is dumb. When all these talks came up I said we’d be lucky to get a 2nd. We basically took the rest of the 9ers draft class. The 49ers aren’t a good team this year and have been decimated by injuries. Cmc won’t change that. And there is a high probability he’s gonna miss games. Dude has played 5 games after missing basically 2 seasons and people are acting like we should’ve got a first? It’s honestly fuging weird that the 9ers did it and reeks of desperation. They are a plug and play rb team because of their scheme. Their starting rb has more rushing yards than cmc right now.

bills were the only team I could see who might pull the trigger because this is their season and they could risk it because they’re still good if he gets hurt. They wouldn’t even do it.

We just told every player on this team that 6 weeks into the season, we quit. CMC was 75% of our offense last week. Our offensive coordinator is running high school football offense. If I'm a player, and I have my future to think about, it's not with Carolina. Get me off this sinking ship.

This is the important part. If I was Burns or DJ I’m talking to Tepper and Fitts for my moves.

since we can’t score, i think every player already knew that. i think this is a good move for both parties. CMC has had trouble staying in the field, so we got some solid value for him while we still can.

    • The teams this 2nd year player (can’t really blame the years before he was drafted on him) was playing were going 100% as most do most weeks in the NFL. The whole argument is about his play during that period and how well was he actually playing. I’m with you on the winning though. Just start winning and fans will get excited. Start getting in the playoffs and winning and we won’t care how his PFF or box score stats look. 200 yards a game to 400 yards a game, start scoring and winning playoffs games and 99% of fans will buy in.
    • Yeah, we are gonna be raw.  Wonnum, for the past 3 years, has been averaging 8 sacks a season (4 in one season when he missed half a season).  I am OK, but yes, they will be thrown to the fire.
    • I like this because it means one or both of the rookies will be thrust into a bigger role right away and we can see what they might be. I don't like this because it just makes our team that much younger and inexperienced.  You need vets to help the young guys learn, I just hope we aren't going too far in the opposite direction.  All our FA signings were guys just coming off their rookie deals too, I get why we're doing it, but having the savvy vets help in other ways too.
