These would have been a our next drafts if we had made the Burns trade. Looks like a good way to rebuild a team to me.

2023: 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5

2024: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 5, 6

2025: 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7

Well poo when you put it out all easy to read like that…sure looks awfully good.

Not to mention all the money that could have been used elsewhere that we are going to spend on Burns. Just an all around flub by the front office.

So instead they kept Burns and still stunk lol. Real good post… smh

Next year will be a whatever year anyways. With whatever rookie QB we have and new head coach getting their feet wet. Picks in 2024 and 2025 were exactly what we needed

Unfortunately working for David Tepper left Fitterer no choice but to decline or he wouldn’t have been around to use those picks.

So of course we the fans of this dumpster fire of an organization are the ones left to suffer

its not burns falut they stink. Hes one of the few parts that work. why would you trade a working peice to replace the same peace and hope it works?

So true. Why must every pick be for 2023? We're not gonna turn everything around in one fuging year. If we had 2 1sts for the next couple years of the rebuild that would have been huge.

people here dont seem to understand all 1st round picks are not equal.  Burns taken at what 14-15 almost assures you he is one of the top 2 or so players at his position. you take the rams 28th or 32 pick those guys on the trade value chart might not equal up to the caliber player burns is. those picks might not =the value of the 15 pick on the trade value chart. Not to mention it was a outstanding pass rusher draft.

we have seen classes where there are very few edge rushers that go in the first so what if that year is next year?  also saying he isnt worth it is dumb. If a super bowl team like the ram who evaluates talent better than draft picks say hey we will give you 2 1st and a second for your young stud then guess what they see the talent and value as well.

Coping hard here

    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
