you can't say he didn't come with the specifics though. so if this turns out to have any accuracy to it, he better get his flowers. I'm not saying he's going to be right but he's certainly talking like he heard something in particular.

With the Rooney rule, even if Tepper wanted to hire Wilks, and even though he's a minority, Tepper would still have to interview 2 external minority candidates.

I don't know all the rules but i would think with Wilkes being a minority coach that would qualify the Panthers as having considered a minority coach .

1) No way Tepper offers a contract until the end of the season. There is no telling what kind of shitstorm this season can spiral into. 
 

2) No way Wilks turns it down.
