There's something broken in Baker. He just doesn't have the "it" that you need to QB in this league.

Darnold would see ghosts now and then, Baker plays like he's trapped in a haunted house. There's no aggression, no push until it's garbage time.

He needs to ride the pine and carry a clipboard from here on out, barring injuries.

I'm not a fan of Darnold as well. But the difference is, Darnold plays bad when his confidence is shaken an the oline was horrible last year.  Baker plays bad on days that end in y.

While I agree with you that he is awful I know you would never punch his face. That guy may suck at QB but unless you are done secret kung fu master that I doubt you are, he would kick your message board ass all up and down the street if you were dumb enough to punch him. He may suck but he is a 200+ pound man. He can't throw but it don't mean he can't fight and wouldn't wreck you.

Yes, he can help us get an earlier pick, but starting him also turns a 5th into a 4th and we can lose with another QB. No need to put him out there anymore. I've seen all I need to know he sucks.

      I swear I’ve seen the writing on the wall since Chuba come back that Dowdle is going to be traded. He is flat out a harder and faster runner than Hubbard and made the offense move better than Chuba, gained more yards per carry and willed the Panthers to victory with two massive performances. But for some inane reason, the coaching staff hasn’t let Dowdle continue his hot streak. There have been trade rumors and I feel like if the Panthers get a mid round pick in return the Panthers will take it. They drafted Etienne and Hubbard is on a big contract. It makes no sense, he’s looked better than any other Panthers player on the offense this year, but he’s not getting playing time with Hubbard back and it seems he’s being shopped for trade.  This team is just infuriating sometimes and it’s no secret why every year they seem to struggle.

      1) The decision to try to trot the FG team on the field to kick a field goal before halftime was completely ridiculous. You are down 16. The offense can come back to the line faster just line up and take another shot.    2) Whatever in the hell this Rico/Chuba thing is sucks. Everyone from the huddle to the media to random other fans on X are in disbelief. Chuba either isn’t what we thought he was or he has lost a step. I’m almost positive the FO doesn’t want to look stupid for paying him and / or Canales doesn’t have the courage to tell him he’s number 2.
