I don’t know if they will win another game, just as a long time PSL Holder, I’m glad for the fans, the coaches and players to have something to cheer for in December….  

….with Sam Darnold, no less i mean my god, it’s a miracle.   Granted he tried twice to give it away but by God, he didn’t

Ah, no worries.

And I honestly agree. I was one who was going along with the Tank train when they were losing bc all we could look forward to was the possibility of getting a franchise QB in the draft. But it's so much more fun and enjoyable when the team, and fans, want to win.

Like you said, the fact we're doing it with Sam Darnold of all people is praiseworthy in its own.

It's likely going to be Dallas as the top wildcard facing the NFC-S "champion".

Washington can catch Dallas for the top wildcard, but only if Washington runs the table (NYG, @SF, CLE, DAL), and Dallas (@JAX, PHI, @TEN, @WAS) doesn't win another game. But that seems highly unlikely.

There's also an outside chance that Dallas could catch Philly for the division. Dallas would have to win all their remaining games, including having to beat Philly Week 16, plus get Philly to lose to either Chicago, New Orleans, or NYG. If Dallas did catch them, then the NFC-S "champion" would host Philly.

I think a lot of the tank crowd never actually attends games.  I have 2 boys that really just got old enough to start watching the Panthers in 2019.  Obviously, we sucked most of 2019, couldn't attend games in 2020, and were absolutely wretched offensively at home last year.

People complain about the environment at BOA and selling tickets to opposing fans, but then actively root for us to fail for some imagined future, all the while it destroys the engagement of the fanbase.  It's absolute lunacy.

I want my boys to witness BOA like it can be when we are relevant.  Hosting a playoff game under any circumstance is awesome.  Absolutely nothing is guaranteed for the future.

After 4 seasons of utter failure, I want to live in the now and enjoy this with my boys.

And I'm also old enough to remember all the naysayers complaining about winning the lowly NFC South in 2014 and how it was going to be a bad thing long term.

In fact, it led to a SB appearance the next year.  Now, without a QB like prime Cam, that might not be the case next year, but this current group would benefit greatly from the experience.

CJ Stroud or Bryce Young aren't setting the league on fire next year.  I'll eat my words if I'm wrong, but they have the absolute feel of a Jamies Winston/Marcus Mariota vibe to me.

The NFC is as bad this year as any year I can ever, ever remember.  Other than the Eagles, there is honestly not one team in the NFC I feel like we would not stand a chance against.

So why not do this?  No one would have imagined we could take down the Eagles in the 2003 playoffs either.  In one game anything can happen.

Regardless, this is so, so much better than the last 4 miserable ass seasons.

I think that game will actually get some significant national attention, since we are 2 of the best underdog stories of the 2022 season.  

But, the only way to remain relevant is to keep winning...

      For us to win 9-10 games a lot of poo has to break in our favor.  A lot more than last season.  That stuff just doesnt happen two years in a row.   I really think the icky injury is really going to mess things up for a prolonged period.  We have all seen what happens when we dont have a competent LT.  Things get dicey in hurry.   Couple that with Tampa getting healthy, Atlanta getting some grown ups in the room and New Orleans on the up and up then our div seemingly is slowly rising from the ashes.  Oh yeah that goes along with our first place schedule   As we sit here today I would say our O/U is probably 6.5-7.   Maybe.   But if this offense doesnt get figured out stat then we are in a world of hurt.  We cannot be relying on going for it on 4rth so much and we cannot think the breaks are going to go our way in one score games.  For us to win 10 games we probably need close to a top 10 offense.  As of 2/2/26 I just dont see it

      I know it's obviously more than Kon. But whewww boy, when you actually hit on a cornerstone piece in the draft, good things happen.  Playing our way out of needing lottery luck this year, and should wind up with 2 1sts in the late teens to low 20 range.
