Richardson is a straight-up project. I don't see us passing up another day-one starter to draft AR.

The Richardson value is what I find interesting if we miss out on the top-3.  I imagine many aren't fans of that next tier and AR does have tantalizing upside.  Do teams view Tanner McKee in the same ballpark? Or is he meh? And is there a big drop off to Hendon Hooker, Jaren Hall, & Clayton Tune?

I just wonder how teams will rank Richardson and if he's really high end first rounder.  The microscope on him will be monster in this draft build up.

I love these three picks by Brugler....someone that is one of the most tapped in scouts/analysts out there.

Moving up to 5 seems more realistic than going up to 1 or 3. We would be able to retain most of our valued picks without giving up the farm. Stroud is my favorite of the three and would take care of our biggest glaring need.

Pairing Stroud & Gibbs w/ Steichen-Brian Johnson or Johnson-Duce Staley/Brunell with a re-signed Bozeman would be an outstanding start.

Also, the DL out of Georgia Tech that we took at 60 is also a low-key promising/upside draft pick. He's freaky athletic at 6'5" 285 and from NC originally.

I’ll take this.

Let’s hope Levis climbs up the QB board.

I think he will a lot of these GMs will fall in love with him and think they've got the next Josh Allen. Fine by me give me Stroud all day over him

Yeah teams don’t trade out of “sure things.” We inquired about Burrow but the Bengals said nope.

While I definitely agree with you, I think it all comes down to his workouts and how the scouts see him.  You cant trade away your first next year to take a qb just to take one. Over reaching for need puts a lot of teams in a hole quick.  In the history of the panthers how often has trading future draft picks worked well for us?

I have no problem trading down like that IF we get Stroud or Young. No way we do it for Levis. I also think drafting AR at 9 and a RB with our first second round pick are wasteful. Gibbs = small version of Hubbard.

Lol what? I agree with everything except you’re really comparing Hubbard to Gibbs? What makes you say that? Gibbs is 100x the pass catcher that Hubbard is. Gibbs also has another gear and twitch that is unmatched by Hubbard.

I say dont mortgage future and get Drake Maye next year. Let Sam finish and see what Corral can do.

I would be up starting Corral and see what he can do. If he is good…great. If he sucks then we get a QB in what looks to be a loaded QB class next draft. The problem is the new coach, whoever that will be, won’t be down for this.

    • That game made me resign from my position as HC of UNC in my solo football dynasty on NCAA26.
    • Nah, what he did in Cleveland was damn impressive.     ain’t no way in hell we (it’s my alma mater) should’ve looked like this tonight.  That was piss poor coaching and piss poor playing.  Like they said, for both teams, this was a similar setting to when TCU played Colorado when Deion was hired.  TCU coming in to play a game against a super famous football celebrity figure with a completely overhauled roster - difference is, Colorado played up to the moment.  We just folded like a cheap lawn chair.  I was joking during the game with friends, like they really watched a whole summer of Gio and Max and decided Gio was the starter?  Hell, I bet Bryce Baker as a freshman is better than Gio.  We hyped that signing of Gio like we just won the fuging lottery, and he is complete ass.  We spent two quarters desperately not trying to throw the football - I don’t know if it’s because he can’t or what?  But there was no excuse for that.  It felt so much like the Rhule years here.  I haven’t seen such a dysfunctional offense since or before.  And then the damn defense…. I asked my friend if they just brought all 70 new guys in from a lab that does arm and leg transplants because did these guys just receive their limbs and are figuring out how to use them???  Because I have never seen a whole team look so inept.  Diving early at feet and missing them entirely, getting trucked, flailing and falling everywhere, peewee league arm tackles, always looking a step slow…  no lie, whatever the worse I could’ve imagined that debut going, take that and make it 10 times worse and I never would’ve even seen THAT happening.  Absolutely no excuse for it.  None.  All the brand power and image brought with the Belichick hire, and that’s the best he could do in his debut.  They brought MJ, LT, and Roy out for THAT???  Man, I spent 7 years of my life living there and i NEVER saw or heard of LT coming out there during that time.  They actually got him coming around to watch THAT. Bill should be fuging embarrassed.  The fuging commentary booth brought a dog in and put a headset on him as Rece Davis said, “the wheels are off, ladies and gentlemen.”  As I said elsewhere - not under Mack 1.0, not under Torbush, not under Butch, not under Fedora,  and not under Mack 2.0, did we EVER look like THAT.  Never.  You bring in a guy that is considered one of the greatest football minds in coaching EVER, and we get shellacked and don’t even look competitive???  Boy I know the boosters are shitting fuging fireballs right now.
