LOL...yea, love that.  Maybe Tepper has learned something.

The fact that Payton never even got a second interview is really icing on the cake. 🙂

For awhile I was afraid the Panthers would mess up up and give away needed draft picks to obtain Payton..

Im glad, we dont need Wilks as our DC, he is not good in that role. Maybe if he wants to stay as DB coach or something, but I would pass altogether.

That Brady bomb session soured me on him completely

Well besides the three out of four winning seasons in Indianapolis, there was that whole Super Bowl thing in Philadelphia.

Seriously, is it that hard to Google somebody?

Seriously, that division is just as bad as ours was this year, but at least our division was once consider one of the best...Ryan,Brees,Cam, era...(remember Indy was king in that divison for a long time too)...and all he did in Philly was hold a clipboard..Doug ran that show...but wait there's more...

Take away HOF QBs...Luck and Rivers...ok, some people forget Great QB mask poor coaching...

19-22-1 without a proven QB on the roster...and might I add again that's in the worst division in the NFL.

Now Wilks record no better but give him a HOF QB I'm sure his record would've been better.

MoRon is a mediocre HC in the NFL. This is already proven as he has 3 winning season out of 12 as a HC.

Reich had 3 winning seasons out of 4 in indy without a Cam Newton or Luke Keuchly.

Prime Shaquille Leonard was pettttttyy close...

SMH, I really hope you are trolling, otherwise you are the least knowledgeable person in this forum. You made up that he didn’t win in Indy then you try and pin 4-12-1 on Reich? FYI, there’s 17 games a season now in case you missed that change in 2021. I’m pretty sure in one of your other unintelligible posts that Reich was fired after going 3-5-1 this year. It was Saturday, his replacement that went 1

I'm thrilled. If we didn't retain Wilks, Reich was my first choice, but I honestly didn't expect us to hire him.

I think he's terribly undervalued, and always elevates the roster/pieces he has to work with. I loved him in Indy and used to always tell my brother that I'm jealous and wished he was our coach.

Dreams apparently do come true.

We'll be far better than we have ever been on a consistent basis going forward. CANNOT WAIT!

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
