Did you miss him forcing a fumble and knocking their QB out of the game? He has two sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. He's the player of the game by miles so far.

I answered the question posed at the time.

I've never argued that he isn't a good player. Admittedly the 49ers keep trying to block him with a TE / pulling OLinemen, so it's mostly self inflicted.

2023 and Cam still has haters even from his own fanbase.

Never change guys!

I love Cam, I was mad when Rhule Cut him, and I wish he was still apart of The Panthers in some way,he singlehandedly changed the culture of this franchise ,but that play is still haunting my nightmares, like the Jon Kasay kick out of bounds, even though if he recovered it the refs would have found another way to screw us, I should let it go, I am working on it

Purdy needs to toughen up and get on with it. Grit his teeth and play through any pain. You wouldn’t have seen legends like Montana, Elway, Marino (etc) stood on the sideline. They’d have been out there playing. Purdy need to get a grip and play. One game from the Super Bowl and making history.

I think the problem is he can't actually grip the football.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
