If DJ Moore kept his helmet on he would still be a Panther most likely

Recommended Posts

DJ:  Ultimate team player.

Played 3D Chess while everyone else played checkers:   Highlighted his WR talents and simultaneously fell on his sword (pulled off his helmet) to secure Panthers a higher draft position.

Haha, and I bet most of you simply thought he was fuging up on that play.

DJ is a legend!

ESPN this morning was saying this is the main reason we traded Moore, haha… idiots.

It’s obvious that the only reason the trade happened was because of DJ Moore.  The Bears valued him highly and that’s what made the deal get done.

i don’t get the feeling he was being shopped.

It would be funny if whoever we draft for a QB becomes an elite legend, and we can trace it all back to DJ and his helmet. It'd be a legendary Panthers story for decades! We could have a statue of it out front lol. Or, if we want to credit the ref, a statue of a yellow flag.

Stroud gonna be the first rookie QB to win a Super Bowl and will be the NFC's equivalent of Mahomes and we'll put DJ and his helmet in our Hall of Honor

Yeah, DJ's inclusion in the trade was not our idea nor something we wanted to do, from what I have read.

And, if DJ had kept his helmet on there is a good chance Wilks is our HC as a reward for having made the playoffs.  Everything is different from that point on.

I'd like to thank DJ Moore, that ref who threw the flag, the Steelers, and Tom Brady for saving us from 5 more years of continued outdated football. Y'all saved us from ourselves. We would have kept Wilks, not gotten this rockstar coaching staff, and would not have traded up for our QB.

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
