We love WRs named DJ!

Sign Chark and trade for Elijah Moore

(I still don't really want Chark, but just thinking of having WRs on the team next year with the names of DJ and another of Moore, makes me chuckle)

Then make Moore take #2 and give Chark #12

Hopkins is a top 5 wr in the league. I would absolutely trade our second and third this year to have that kind of weapon for a rookie qb. Literally just throw it up. I have a feeling they’re gonna try to get weapons through the draft though.

Sadly we can't afford him unless they take on a big portion of his contract.....due $19M

I think it's more the 2nd rounder next year when we already traded away our 1st.

Not a fan of being down both of those picks, especially since we already traded our 2nd away in 2025 as well.

I also think his time in Arizona is up, both sides know it, they don't have much leverage and I can't see a team giving up that much to get him, if someone was willing to give that much up, with the weak FA WR market this year, someone would have already made that trade with them by now.

Maybe, we'll see how it plays out but I think they've got a lot of bidders and are holding firm on their price. Chiefs/Patriots/etc. have all been linked to him. I also think the Cards can wait until after the draft to trade him to a team who strikes out on WR and use that leverage.

I honestly think with Stroud/Young, Hopkins, Chark, all our other signings, BPA at 39 along with this coaching staff will have us ready to contend this year, so that 2nd rounder in 2024 could be pretty late. Also our 3rd this year is from the Niners and is a very late 3rd, NOT our early 3rd as we already gave that up to move up for Corral (ugh). I don't think that's too much to give up for a bonafide #1 WR.

They can find a way if they really want him.

That is not at all true - we have renegotiated, cut, and traded everything just have what we have now and enough to sign the draft class....there is nothing left on our end.  Arizona and Nuk are in full control....unless he is willing to take a pay cut or Ariz pay his salary as I said there is no way.  "They'll find a way" is not real.
