Panthers sign wide receiver Damiere Byrd

Byrd man CAN'T out run AR-15'S arm.

Byrd is a plus compared to Shi, better receiver, he's faster, and is a proven returner. 

I'm still stuck that we were featuring Shi over TMJ early this past season.

Chark / TMJ / Thielen / Shenault / Byrd -- Shi vs a rookie for the final spot IMO.

I loved his development when I watched Cam that year in NE. Glad he’s back. Absolutely nothing to lose.

I'm impressed what Fit has done picking up WRs in free agency. We've got a pretty diverse group with Theielen, Chark, TMJ, Byrd, and Shi Smith 

I'm also impressed Byrd has stuck around the league for so long. I'd easily take him over Shi Smith 

Funny thing is he's noticeably smaller than Bryce Young is (Says Byrd is 5 foot 9 174 lbs)

I Like the signing and his 4.28-second 40-yard dash speed will certainly be an added plus toward him making the 53 man roster.

Difference is receivers most often get tackled by Dbs and safeties maybe a linebacker. They all are around 30 - 40 lbs of each other. That is different from Qbs who get blindsided by guys weighing 100 lbs or more they they do all the time.
