We're gonna have a huge 20 UDFA class this year

We have 66 players under contract.  Looks like we will wind up with 5 draft picks, bringing us to 71.  I assume we will sign another few players in post-draft free agency, bringing us to 74.  That would leave up to 16 spots left for UDFA.

As I see it, our biggest needs are still CB, and OL. I would love to land one of the following:

CB: Ringo or Rush. Both are big, fast guys and excellent value at this point of the draft.

OL:  Zavala, Emil Ekiyor Jr., or Braeden Daniels

Bonus: Roschon Johnson. Big, punishing RB that loves to block and doesn't fumble. Yes please.

Long snapper! Kicker! Punter! Goalie!

Seriously though, NT.

Abanikanda would be fun at 114.  With the WR room pretty much set, I want someone with afterburners on offense.

Darius Rush, Kelee Ringo, Jay Ward, Trice, all potential CBs

The guard and tackle class is about to come back into the picture this draft as well.  We may be going that route to protect Bryce.

Josh Whyle & Zach Kuntz are still viable TEs that could beat out Thomas and/or Tremble for TE2.  Could be a future starter.

3rd down RB. And it’s an area of the draft where you could actually find someone that could play vs be a camp body/project for the first couple years.

*bonus points if he has punt return ability

i mean if we are running a dink/dunk offense we need that

My "sources " ( some mystical Huddler who knows more than professional coaches )  tell me ,  that the Panthers will trade back to get the 259 pick in the 7th round,,  to get,  ( you guessed it ) , Mr. irrelevant .

We know this is a copy cat league,, if San Fran can find their  QB Brock Pretty at 259,, you can bet others will  try..   We're trading back, a Clayton Tune type,,  better yet,,  submit names of your favorite QB Division III  or  II ,, Do the research,, find out who Leigh's  QB  was,, or the school of your liking..  Scour the Australian football league even though they don't have a QB ,,

    • With Horn I would gladly over pay... via the TAG.   I would take his 5th year option and TAG and TAG again. Dude is a monster but I dont want to pay for a monster with as few starts as he has.
    • If Bryce plays like last year, we will be picking high and can move on.  But I am curious to see how people on here are when he sees success and becomes the guy, if he does. It's almost like people want him to fail. He's got that Panther jersey on and a good attitude. I am rooting for him, as you should.  Last year the coaching, OL, and weapons were abysmal, and it put him in a tough spot. He did not play well either, but we saw glimpses, and its a full team sport. I choose to go into this year excited under a fresh new regime and a top prospect from 365 days ago at the helm with new OL and weapons. Whatever happens, happens. Let's have some fun with it.
    • Maybe. You know he wanted that OC gig each time, I believe the last time they even stated he interviewed for the role. This was during the whole youth movement that mccvay started as well.  Honestly I was hoping Seattle would have cut ties with pete, he would have been great here in a top mentor role. I don't think its talked about enough, they did Pete wrong. He made them a great NFL team for the first time in their history and gave them a SB. He's still in great shape by all reports and they just decided to go young. They even removed most of his pictures and quotes in the building. Sorta like what the pats did to bill, but waay worse.  I guess I have too much loyalty for the new times, no chance either should been to out for retirement..
