I think the 3-4 sucks. Not ours..just in general I'm not a fan.

It's always felt so unnatural to me, obviously it's worked for several teams who've won it all with a 3-4, none more obvious than Denver against us but I completely agree. I hate the 3-4, I do (for now) trust Evero to make it work for us but I think it's easier to have a successful 4-3 than 3-4.

Hot take: Frank Reich will make us miss Matt Rhule.

dude that is literally not possible. Reich could absolutely suck but the way he carries himself will never drop to Rhule's level of suck. I could see Reich further enforce making us miss Rivera though, really hoping not.

Dude it was a joke based on the hot take reactions of preseason game 1.

Also, no chance we miss Rivera either. He had a hella talented squad for several years and fuged it up.

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
