How would you feel if we cut Chuba and signed Hunt?

To me Chuba stinks, even as a #2 and in an effort to close out games at the end you need the ability to run the ball at the end.

 

I like the idea of an experienced vet like Kareem Hunt to be the 2 punch after Sanders

Hunt was good but isn't really any more, at least he can catch so yeah he may be an upgrade on Chuba. However he does seem to be in demand and I have no interest in outbidding the other teams for him. And I wouldn't cut Chuba, he's still a good runner and no reason not to keep him as the #3 if we added another RB. Sanders will likely be a bellcow so hopefully he just stays healthy.

Id love it, those groin injuries linger, if we don't have miles for extended periods this season it would spell trouble. Like @t96 said he isn't the greatest runner ever but would provide a nice safety valve in the passing game.

Chuba played better once Moron Ruhle was fired. He is an adequate back up. Running back is a bigger need for this team than a lot of people think. I can’t believe they let Foreman walk.

I mean, Hunt would be the best dual threat on the roster.  Basically, the exact type RB I argued we should add to compliment the backfield. 

 But I'm not a fan of Hunt the person.   I'd rather pass.

I don't know about him being a better than dual threat than Sanders, and he's older. He'd take the pressure off for sure though.

I'm okay with Chuba as the #2 RB. We just have bigger roster needs than a RB if we're out there looking to make moves.

We looked awful in the trenches on Saturday. If we're going to make moves let's get linemen.

Isn't Hunt a few years older than Chubba?  That would be the reason I wouldn't.  Hunt still looked great last season, but age is a tricky game when it comes to RBs.
