Nice block from Blackshear on that attempt.

Funny thing I was thinking is that he reminds me a better run blocking version of Khalil Herbert..and what do you know, they were teammates.  Can pass catch and seems to have bulked up and improved at blocking.  He plays a lot quicker and with better burst than he tested in 2020.

I'd just love to find a toolsy guy in the mold of Pollard/Herbert/etc. I think that type of dude is critical these days.

Sanders doesn't have top end burst, Hubbard is just slow, and Brown is just not worth having.

Would love to just keep Sanders, Blackshear, and maybe peruse other team's cuts for a smash mouth type.  If no ones pops up of interest, just retain Hubbard one more year.

He gets a hard on if Carolina struggles and when they play well he disappears.

Remember he wanted us to draft Aqeel Glass who is now a backup on the USFL (if he isn’t cut yet).

He says the most obnoxious stuff to rile everyone up and then disappears and posts some other random nonsense

    • They really would have been a perfect pairing of WRs as they're both so good, yet complete opposite types of players.  But with all our holes on defense, if Ladd showed the same potential had we drafted him, no way they could have justified going WR again, even I might have been against it (okay, we all know that's not true, I'd still haver taken my guy, but I'd at least have admitted it wasn't smart).
    • They try so hard to be the smartest ones in the room rather than taking the players that are more obviously going to be good. I think that is largely driven by who the owner is. They want to do it "their" way, but their way has been wrong a whole lot more than it has been right.
    • Run the ball 50 times, averaging 3ish yards per carry and hope like hell to limit their possessions. If they don't play keep-away, Atlanta is going to do to us what Double Trouble used to do to teams. They could put up 40 points and pass the ball less than 10 times.
