Colts owner Jim Irsay, when asked later Saturday about the trade request, told ESPN the team would not trade Taylor.

"We will not trade Jonathan Taylor," Irsay said. "That is a certainty. Not now or not in October."

49ers were literally the perfect team for him. He's no longer the focal point of an offense like he was in Carolina. He's playing with other great skill players defenses have to focus on Deebo and Kittle. CMC doesn't have to be a workhorse anymore.

No disputing this just saying for what the Colts want for JT we should of just kept CMC if people want us to do a deal

Running backs have very little power.  To think back in the Day Hurney paid JW and D'Will huge contracts.  Today it ain't happening.  You can find a good RB anywhere from the top of the draft to UDFA. 

We got a good deal on Sanders no need to fill a spot with another RB.

Nah, they're QB can protect himself after interceptions and fumbles without being ridiculed or villainized like Cam. They have invested in their o-line as well. That closed our window. But yes, adding another weapon like Taylor to the stockpile would definitely take even more pressure off of Allen.

Kind of ironic how Indy sees his value as a 1st round pick but also won't give him a new contract? Tough times to be a RB.
