Reddick had a really good final year in Arizona before he came to Carolina, he was just being played out of position.  Which incidentally you could also argue for Simmons...I mean I don't know where/how they're playing him but versatility can be a double-edged sword.  If you have a guy who has the build and skill set for multiple positions, then you might put him in a role that may not be his optimal position out of necessity because of a hole in your roster.  Which is what you could argue we've been doing with Jeremy Chinn at safety after a dominant rookie season at LB.
