The only reason why TMJ is getting this many opportunities is because of his 2nd round status. Fitt's draft classes have left a lot to be desired. I don't know many players that he has drafted who have consistently contributed or made impacts beyond the 1st round. Outside of Christensen and Chinn, who else?

This year's draft class outside of Bryce is very suspect as well, the only contributor might be Mingo.

It is September 14th.

lol. We got 3 starters in a single draft.. Bryce, Zavala, and Mingo.... and you are calling the draft class "suspect"

What. the. actual. fug.

I'm judging Fitt on his previous draft classes too. This is his 3rd draft for the Panthers, we've given Hurney crap for his draft history outside of 1st round draft picks, why can't we judge Fitt's draft history? Zavala and Mingo are starters more due to injury and lack of talent at their positions. I hope these picks pan out, but show me a pro bowl player that Fitt drafted?

Zavala?

TMJ was open on a couple of routes when the ball went elsewhere. He was a very eager participant in run blocking though and hopefully that will assist with Mingo's development in that area. Chuba had a run where Mingo got about 5yds to the DB and just chopped his feet. Had he engaged like TMJ did every time he had to run block, Mingo would have possibly sprung Chuba free for a TD.

After one game?

Hell, it's still too early to truly judge last year's class still yet. And that's not even factoring in the that the coaching changes mean we're looking for players to fit different systems.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
