They pulled back on outright release. Something is in the works in Denver.

the DE guy form dallas who got a 70 some million deal last year, that guy?? I remember him having issues with pot and thought denver is the last place for you.... dallas wanted to keep him and in the final stage added some drug clauses and he and his agent agent pulled back on the signing......

My god, if this is true (big if here)this is so much worse than the Hurney years. I also wouldn't put it past Tepper to be mandating this type of action from Fitterer. I have absolutely nothing to back that speculation up but it's the exact type of fuggery that's been happening since he took over.

If not directly mandating he’s indirectly causing it.  Fitterer will do anything to save his job.  If it doesn’t work out, he’s fired anyways.

tru, but im not seeing any #1 WR on the trade market.

I take that back, there is some Adams rumors out there now....but he is what 31 close to 32 and for a WRs thats a sleep cycle away form waking up washed.....

plus brown is not a #1, never has been. plus hes got injury issues too...... mfer why fitts??

he missed 5 games last year and 2 his rookie season, totaling to 7 games.

Basically less durability concerns than his former teammate Hopkins.

    • Yeah, honestly being a long-term backup is at least as much about being a good lockerroom presence and accepting your role as a supporting piece and not being a greasy wheel as much as it does about ability. Backup QB requires a completely different mindset than the starter and some guys just can't make that switch. It doesn't make them bad guys or locker room cancers or anything like that, it just makes them not what you're looking for in a long-term backup. You bring in that type of guy to compete. You don't bring in that type of guy if you're not looking for competition.
    • Im saying its Tar Heel fans who would do that. I root for all Panthers to succeed regardless but college affiliation means zero to me
    • We have some good pieces.  Enough to be competitive week to week.  Coaching seems to be improving but they’ve made it much harder on themselves than needed.  There are very good reasons to be optimistic about the future. However, I don’t trust them yet.  Wins are odd looking and mostly ugly.  Our opponents have to have a bad day for us to hang with them.  A lot of that is because we still haven’t figured out the most important position and will continue until it’s solved. I think Morgan has done a nice job in both the draft and FA so far.  He’s getting better each day he’s in that position. As far as the players listed, I’m pretty much in agreement.  XL and Bryce are not performing the way they should at this point.  I will say XL could see more success in a vertical passing attack to better utilize his speed. And as always, Fug Tepper.
