I was going to say it started with Goff and Wentz, two guys that were really lackluster in comparison to many of the starting QBs at the time. But really, its much much worse.

The league has had tons and tons of 1st round QBs after that who just simply did not stand out.

Tannehill, Weeden.

Bortles, Manziel, Bridgewater

Winston, Mariota

Goff, Wentz, Paxton Lynch

Teams want SO badly for the next big thing at QB that they often spend a 1st round pick on a QB that is a 3rd round talent or so.

Please let Bryce Young work out long-term. I really feel sad for the kid because we literally have nothing around him. I'm hoping once we get him some legit weapons he will see more success.
