No one has a long Leash (including Reich)

If they do fire Fitt they should look at firing Reich and letting the new GM pick his HC.  Honestly the best thing moving forward would hiring a director like many have stated to run things, having a committee (ran by new director) find a new GM and letting the new GM find his HC.  I don't like pairing new GMs with old HCs and vise versa.  Build a roster and offense around Young and see how he does the next year or two.  If the new HC doesn't like what he see from Young after year 2 we will have our 1st rounder back to try again and let him pick his guy.

You know I love the "football consultant" idea, but I wouldn't want anybody hired or fired until that guy is in place and has had a chance to evaluate everything.

David Tepper just needs to sit on his ass until someone smarter than him is in place.

Right before Frank made the decision to give up playcalling (all on his own, his decision, just like it was when he did stuff in Indy)_.....he essentially told us what is going on.  To me that was coach speak of telling the world this is Colts/Isray all over again for him.

Frank does not enjoy his weekly Monday morning Tepper meetings.

Tepper needs to fire himself from the football side of the house. I mean, based on the Rock Hill fiasco probably the business side as well. But definitely the football side.

The stories that he was an extremely difficult person to work for are certainly looking more credible at this point.

Best way to improve the Monday morning meetings is to do better. Nobody should have had to force him to give up playcalling, he should have figured that out on his own. He also should have adapted his system to fit the team personnel. So it is his own fault. Tepper also seem difficult. Both can be true.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
