Antonio "Wilks" is why Frank has to be fired tomorrow

Even in their first loss today under Antonio Pierce, you can see how the Raiders were playing and had a chance until the very end. This was a 12.5 point underdog that could have very easily won this game. This is the same team that had no life/pulse under McDaniels.

Antonio Durran Pierce is a leader of men

Steve Wilks is a leader of men

Matt Rhule, Josh McDaniels, Frank Reich are Billionaire CONMEN

I sometimes think one reason why this team is terrible is Perhaps the locker room was lost when Wilks was not retained. I get the impression he was very respected and the players played hard for him.

That's not an impression, it's a fact. Just look at the players nobody is chewing each other out. Guys aren't showing emotion. Wilks had guys motivated to play for him. Frank is just here. I haven't seen a single player rave about him in the locker room.

This team doesn't consist of Panthers. There are maybe 3 left. We just have a bunch of dudes wearing the same jersey.

Stop with this Wilks BS. 9ers D isn't that elite. They're good and much better than us though. But stop acting like he's some top tier coach. Purdy won the game for the 9ers today. And btw, the players LOVED Rivera.

One thing I've heard is Wilks coaches from the booth and Ryans was on the sidelines. He was connected to his players constantly. It's rumored to have made quite the difference in how the defense has performed

Just because Frank was the wrong decision, doesn't mean Wilks was the right one.

I was ok with going in a different direction....................BUT NOT FOR FUGGIN FRANK REICH! If you were just going to hire a retread coach who literally just got fired midseason, you should have just rolled with the guy who got us back to competency.

It's the same as the Cam situation. I was fine moving on from him as the time had come.............BUT NOT FOR FUGGIN TEDDY BRIDGEWATER!!!!!! I'm starting to actually hate this franchise.

    • Another source: NFL Rumors: Hakeem Butler to Visit Panthers After UFL Success, Wade Phillips' Praise ZACH BACHAR JUNE 10, 2024 The Carolina Panthers are expected to conduct a workout with UFL wide receiver Hakeem Butler, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Butler recorded a league-leading 652 receiving yards as a member of the St. Louis Battlehawks. He was previously a fourth-round draft pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. After the Battlehawks were defeated by the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL Conference title game, Brahmas head coach and longtime NFL coach Wade Phillips told the receiver that "I'm going to tell everybody in the NFL that I talk to that you need to be playing," via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. Despite the loss by St. Louis, Butler still hauled in six receptions for a team-high 59 receiving yards. The 28-year-old was named the 2024 UFL Offensive Player of the Year, as he was one of only two wideouts to have multiple games with at least 100 receiving yards. While the Panthers added Diontae Johnson and first-round rookie Xavier Legette to their wide receiver room in the offseason, they could still use some depth in the form of Butler. Carolina isn't opposed to picking up former UFL players, as Rapoport revealed on Thursday that the team is also "expected" to sign All-UFL receiver Daewood Davis. Although Butler was selected by the Cardinals in the 2019 draft, he did not play as a rookie due to a hand injury and only appeared in two regular-season games as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020. He did not record a catch. Butler signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2023 offseason, although he ultimately didn't make the team's regular-season roster. At 6'5", he has the frame to potentially make an impact in training camp and earn a shot at making Carolina's 53-man roster. If his workout goes well with the Panthers, Butler could give himself another chance to possibly return to the NFL.
    • They have all the rookies. The DC game has Ron though. With the new QB. It is weird.  pantherclaw, Bryce sort of is what he is, and in Madden he makes throws the real Bryce can’t make. Here and there. He ain’t ain’t a top QB in Madden though, lots of picks. aone of them lol was the throw that scares the hell out of me when he throws it, out to the boundary... quack quack.
