When is Coach Canales introductory press conference?

I think he is busy filling out his staff and prepping for the senior bowl which is what he should prioritize first. At this point, I could care less what he has to say at the intro press conference. We've been bamboozled before with Rhule and Reich speeches. It's all rah-rah speeches without substance. We just want to see accountability and results.

To that end, I haven't heard of one fricking hire.

Hopefully a brief pop-in, pop-out visit to Charlotte from Mobile. I feel like both Morgan and Canales are the types that are more interested in the grind and the on-field product vs. the spotlight.

Obviously, it has to be done and everyone is excited to get pumped for the new hire, but these two seem like the "let's get it over with and get back to work" kine.

Hoping they announce the Assistants soon too and give us clarity on Evero.

i expect at the senior bowl they are also going to be on the lookout for prospective assistant coaches.

lot of networking going to be going on.

hopefully canales will have watched a good bit of tape on us so he goes into the intro presser a bit informed about where we are and where we need to go.

I actually think that they’ll be done at Senior Bowl by tomorrow. I don’t think coaches and scouts stay down there the whole week. They take in the first couple of practices and then head back. May leave a scout or 2

    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
