I agree, but the interest in OTs right now could be an indication that he is not our RT in 2025.  He will be 31, and while that is not too old for a T, it is too much for a 31 year old RT with his credentials.

got to be an odd time to try to get a pick for a meh vet given everyone around the league is excited about getting new talent soon via the draft.

I saw that if designated june cut it would save 17m in cap if we didnt mind the dead money.  Probably not worth it i dont think but maybe worth noting if they dont designate jackson as the june cut.

Depends on the timing.... I don't see us cutting Moton though.

My hat's off to Dante. Some may differ, but while great CBs came and went, others disappointed, others stay injured...Dante held the position down. His own injuries started to take their toll, but even when he played on a bad toe a couple of years ago, he was effective.

If I'm not mistaken, someone trading for Donte would only be on the hook for 4-5 million.  We get the 10mil dead cap hit.  That doesn't seem too extravagant for an above average vet corner.  How many cbs in this draft will step in and be better right now.  If I'm a team that wants to win right now, I may have some interest.

This is going to be a rough year. Unless a miracle off-season happens, or Bryce turns into a super star, this team does not look like it will be competing for more than 5 wins. It would not shock me if the Panthers are picking first overall again next year.

      You bring up a good point on the stability part and i would agree that probably will factor into it. But yes, Tepper does have a strong influence on who stays/goes but I still believe ultimately it'is Morgan, Tilis and Canales who will decide.

      I can always count on yout to put things so delicately lol. I'm still not sold on the fact that Tepper will make them keep him if they don't see him as a long term answer.

      holy poo... this thread inspired me to keep trying to guess passwords to various alts I've created over the years and I finally got in! I pretty much accepted my fate as a lurker for the last several months because I could not remember my password. I didn't realize that new users couldn't join either, that explains things. I have been around for years under several different monikers, through the good and bad. I too always find myself coming back here even with all of the new social media options for Panther fan engagement. It's simply nostalgic.   I do get extremely annoyed with the same 5-10 posters shitting on Bryce and complaining about everything. It's unfortunate that half of them are mods and that nobody new can join because now I pretty much just come on here and see Bryce / Panther slander. There is barely any positivity to be had. We all watch this team and hang on this forum for entertainment purposes only. We have no control or say in anything. I used to be such a crazy ass fan that would argue with strangers about Cam newton on the internet and at games. Now, as a father of 3, a business owner and someone with way gnarlier life problems - I like to watch football and talk about football as an escape. Not to bitch more. I really like the direction of the team and will root anyone in a Panthers jersey. I live down the street from the Rams practice facility, Matthew Stafford is currently coaching his daughters flag football team in the same program I coach my sons. I have two highly ranked Rams staff members sons on my team. The way we beat them and had them on the ropes in the playoffs has me feeling amazing, and you would think we have the next great thing in Bryce with the way they all speak of him. I'm gonna ride that high and be a delusional fan, I hope that huddle can stick around or get fixed and perhaps I will get back to posting more now that I can log in again. I will do my best to not get banned. Keep Pounding!
