Motherfuger.

Great job, Dan.  Out of our two most pressing issues in FA, you have successfully strung one out to the point of being forced into a trade that likely won't net a justifiable value in return and then you let the other guy, who is an actual beast on the field in every way, walk for absolutely nothing.  What a fuging blowhard.  Already fuging poo up in the deep-steeped Panther tradition.  This is a fuging joke.

impressive you making this BY fault and not players just choosing not to be here lol

It's not Bryce Young's fault. It's PUR fault for drafting him. Every red flag I spelled out pre-draft came true, I just way underestimated just how bad the red flags were.

Do we even have a 2nd best defensive player now after Brown?

Honestly, who is the 2nd best player on this defense if you remove both Burns and Luvu?

Probably Horn in reality, but given his injury history, not sure if you can consider him that, really don't know who would be next in line.

that's just simply not true. good ol play is so hard to find lmao.

Guard is the easiest to find on the OL. Just because our coaches have been dogshit and didnt know how to coach anyone, doesnt make this not true. Our interior was a bright spot at the end of the 22-23 season then the Reich regime came in and everything went to poo.

Sucks to see him go but I would not say he's irreplaceable. Certainly not if Brian Burns isn't.

Now we're heading into my fear scenario though where we basically have to navigate a stellar draft.

Hey it's sure a good thing we didn't retain the same scouting dept behind some of the worst drafts in franchise history the last few years. Oh...

    • To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.
    • Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
