Future at Runningback

Chuba is a good back and we are lucky Matt Rhules wife made this draft pick. But, he is entering the final year of his contract. Plus it’s good to have a solid rotation of backs on hand. I think RB is a sneaky need this off-season, I would be surprised if Sanders was still on the roster this time next year(maybe he turns it around). Even Blackshear will be a free agent, drafting a RB this year sets us up with leverage of not being forced to resign Chuba. The best RB fit in my eyes for a Dave Canales offense, is a quick first step home run hitting RB. Why not pair the most explosive RB in the draft with a creative offensive HC. Plus we could grab Jaylen Wright in the 3-4th round.

If you guys wanna check out the video I made about Jaylen Wright it’s linked below!

High on Ray Davis because he fits with Canales’ scheme.

He’s got a chip on his shoulder and has shown the ability to produce on both good and bad teams. He’s got some of if not the best feet in the draft and he finishes through contact. He’s also pretty explosive for a guy his size.

Another reason this franchise has been a complete failure while other teams excel is our inability to draft premier running backs anywhere except the first round. D Williams, Stewart, cmc all first round picks. Chubba took 3 years to finally produce and as soon as he potentially cements himself as a starter he will need to be paid

meanwhile teams draft similar production like kamara, hunt, ekeler, aaron jones, breece hall, etc with mid round picks.

we need a running back to produce immediately on a rookie contract. That is success in todays nfl

    • I turned to the NFL Network and they are playing the Wildcard Game against the Rams I think we gained a lot of respect around the league we hung in there for a while into the 4th Quarter 🙂
    • Does anyone know for sure if the game tonite will be on HBO max?  That is where I watched the last one and only access I currently have- I am in SE NC and no broadcast stations carry the games.😖
    • take a  look around the league at other young Qb's such as Drake Maye , Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix , CJ Stroud  & Caleb Williams who at the time like Bryce Young they also were drafted by teams with a losing record .the only difference with these Qb's is after joining their teams with a losing record they led those same teams to a winning record in a very short period of time .it's simply what you call a game changer & or elite Qb's & then take a  look at  the other side of the coin you have Qb's such as Trey Lance, Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, Justin Fields  & Anthony Richardson also like Bryce Young all first round picks who instead of winning either did not play or led their teams to a losing record while playing  Bryce Young who has an overall record of 14-30 & wildly inconsistent & never in the history of the NFL has a Qb 5'10" or shorter had a successful carrer as Qb in the NFL  if anything history is telling you exactly what ?..just saying
