When I took some geology classes at App State we were shown large landslide features and it was hypothesized to be from tropical systems coming from the gulf. 

Word is that this has the potential to be the worst flooding event in recorded history in the area. 

It has potential to cause serious flooding and mud slides. I really hope this is an overreaction.

Im just north of Asheville and the creek in our front yard looks like the Amazon. Hope we don’t lose power tonight. If we get any high winds it will get ugly.

There's no way this will be worse than 1916. That was two back to back hurricanes within a week. The second one dropped upwards of 20" in a 24 hour period on already completely saturated land and swollen streams. That's the one that wiped out the town of Mortimer on Wilson Creek. Wilson Creek crested at 94 feet through the gorge. This will probably be the worst flooding in the last 20 years or so though. It ain't nothing to sneeze.

      I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.

      Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
