That aint surprising. Real question is how much is he really worth now? He hasn't really done anything since he left the Eagles and its been proven that the Eagles Oline makes any RB look good.

No idea what someone would trade for him. If we could get a 5th or better I'd consider that a huge win.

37 minutes ago, Joe Bear said:

You could get a seventh for him if you add Bryce, Mingo and a fifth. Hell I don't think the entire 2023 Panthers draft class combined could net one fourth now.

That is the worst draft class in our history and there’s no reason to even wait and see. It’s the worst, especially when you consider that to get that class we also traded away a 2023 2nd and 2023 4th for Young and DJ and pick #1 in 2024 as well as our soon to be very early 2nd in 2025. All those picks traded and it helped our 2023 class to still be straight and utter trash with not one guy who will ever be a quality starter or even an average starter.

I'm not even sure eating cap helps drum up a trade. Behind this line he has been pedestrian. If not a trade then they need to start looking towards finding an excuse to IR him. That has zero to do with Brooks. He is in the way and Chuba needs someone to rotate.

    • he used to have nothing good to say about them. put him on the payroll...problem solved.
    • I am also intrigued by Mohammad. Could be another story. Seems like he has the talent but seems to have had some issues with coaching schemes/changes,  some attitude and work ethic issues? Hopefully his being home can get him focused. Here is what I read ( all second hand to me ) :    1- He has all the skills but was nonexistent under two different coaching staffs. He butted heads and was benched under Jimbo (for wearing sleeves under his uniform after the coaching staff told him not to 🙄). Then under the new staff, he rarely saw the field – he had just 55 yards last season. When he saw the field, he either made the most impressive play of the game or would get an unsportsmanlike penalty. Just a bizarre case because he has the talent.     2 -Aggie here to provide some insight. As the other poster mentioned, Moose had a weird time at A&M and it didn't help that Jimbo's offense was painful and wide receivers never seemed to excel. His third year was promising but he was also competing with Evan Stewart, Noah Thomas, and Chase Lane who I'm pretty sure were all 5*s. Also Ainais Smith and Devon achane ran majority of the offense. That said, going into his last year with Jimbo, a couple guys like Lane and Achane left, and most Ags thought this would be the year Moose really steps up. Unfortunately as the other poster mentions, he disappeared into misconduct and coaching change.
    • I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.
