Prime WILL NOT Let Shedeur Or Hunter Go To A Sh*tshow Organization

I’m not convinced he’s as hot a commodity as he is being hyped to be.

Every team in the league knows that it’s a package deal with him and his dad. I kind of feel sorry for the kid in that regard. Deion may actually end up costing his kid money by knocking his draft position.

Sounds like a murder - suicide for a GM and coach.

And what would he do about it?  You can talk a big game, but you need a plan of action.  Is he going to advise them to sit out an entire season and wait for the 2026 draft?  No way in hell they do that.  Is he going to demand a trade?  Good luck with that.

This 2025 class has some good bones in the mid rounds but it’s one of the worst top of classes I’ve seen in history. It gives me some 2013 vibes. McMillan and Graham are solid 1sts but man, these others being floated as top-10… I don’t think they’d go until the late teens/beyond if they were in the last few drafts.

I.E I'm not taking these guys like Scourton or Mykel over Verse or Latu.  Last year's OTs and WRs would all be going ahead of the majority of this class.  Throw Bowers in this class, dare I'd say he'd be 1 on the big board.

Some teams have bad years, some organizations have a bad existences.  The later example are the ones I think Prime was referring to, the Browns and Jets of the League.  Seven years down a spiraling toilet flush, we are trying our best to joint the misery.

Put this way, in 2026 if we are picking #1...again, does the Manning family block Arch from coming to Carolina?  If anyone says yes, then you know Prime has to feel the same way about his guys coming here.

Um….the Jets have almost an identical history to the Panthers. In fact no other team comes close, except maybe the Jaguars.

The main difference is they lose the championship game to go to a second SB while the Panthers won’t but then lost the Super Bowl…

But W/L are closer than any other franchise etc.

If we want to talk king of the shitpile since 1995, I’d look at Lions or Browns or Raiders but the Panthers are so close to them in a lot of ways with the track record of the past six years you’d really be arguing semantics at that point all things considered.

I would consider the Panthers to have a near bad existence headed to bad existence. It’s just comical franchises mentioned awful are literally the closest team comparatively speaking to the Panthers lol

Some of you really think this team was better than it actually was…never back to back winning seasons, one of the worst W/L teams since 1995 (bottom 5 I believe), …all due the Tepper effect. We suck so bad we remember slightly below average as glory days lol

    • But that's the point, if the locker room feels that way, then you're going to upset them by still keeping Bryce around and playing him over the Top 10 pick, as opposed to bringing in a vet to start until the rookie is ready. Again, it goes one of 3 ways... 1. Bryce plays well enough to earn an extension 2. Bryce still sucks and we draft his replacement who starts Week 1 with a new QB as his backup 3. Bryce still sucks, we draft his replacement in the 1st, but they start the season backing up a new vet QB who was brought in to be his mentor. With an OUTSIDE chance at a 4th option where Bryce plays well enough to convince the team to let him play out the 5th year option and then make a decision.  Which I can't see it happening, but there is still a non zero chance of that happening I guess. The only way we draft a QB next year and still have Bryce on the roster, is if we're taking someone in the middle rounds hoping to develop them as a long term backup to Bryce.
    • I hear you. But I am not absolving Legette just because he is from my neck of the woods or anything else.  Tge comment was more about the fans uneven application of blame.  I do agree that there is a noticeable disconnect between him and the QB and that he might do better with a more polished and capable delivery man.  Abd don’t feel that they used XL right, or at least how I expected it to look.  And that could be a function of a reticent WB that shies away from that style of attack. I mean it was either him or Canales that pretty much eliminated downfield from the playbook - even while we see guys running free at times. It Could work if they commit to it.  Whoever isn’t committing.
    • Lot of passion there.  Look, if Bryce plays down to the level that we feel the need to draft a QB high, you don’t think the locker room might be ready for anything that helps them win?   There are s lot of angles to this that could come into play depending on what happens this year.
