Has this game changed feelings about Young?

The entire team shat the bed. The thing that is most disappointing is that Young showed his negative tendencies and deficiencies again. I can't put the entire blame on him by any means. I was hoping that they had laid having to take a QB early to rest, I'm not so sure now.

I know the Oline stunk it up big time and didn't help Bryce at all. The coaching on both sides of the ball got owned. Do you feel confident that taking a QB later in the draft would work or in the top of the draft would be a better move.

The draft will have to primarily on defense, no doubt. Just not confident yet that Bryce would be the guy long term. Better to be save than sorry.

Well so far in his career he has had maybe 5 decent to good games and 20 bad ones. I think those numbers speak for themselves.

Is there still a chance he can turn it around and become a franchise QB? Sure, but I would say that's highly unlikely.

this is where im at. Bryce has a long way to go to make me believe hes the franchise QB

No. He's not a franchise QB, but he's not the worst QB of all time like we feared in September. He was on a heater for a while and he had a bad game in a game I said all week was a horrible matchup for this team. If you don't give up >200 yards rushing and fail miserably on third downs, you can probably overcome 2-3 of his turnovers. But the whole team sucked other than Coker. Young would've needed to have his best game ever to win when the defense is this decimated and awful.

Not enough to justify taking a QB in the first round given a weak class and when the entire team stinks and needs help.

Give it another year, but even if we decide to eventually move on we need to put a QB in a better situation.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
