Final PFF Grades

Obviously PFF is what it is and we all love it when we agree and think it's bullshit when we don't, lol.  But about what I'd expect. AT the star of the offense and 30th ranked receiver overall. Coker not far behind matches the eye test. I think Hubbard is better than his ranking by a little but with no real backup he's gonna get some wear and tear.

I think we all agree we’re happy with the investments at the G positions. Still difficult to look at our WR/TE positions and not wonder what Bryce would look like with elite talents there. 
 

Defense was extremely banged up. It’s ugly to look at though which matches the eye test.

Shy Tuttle, our starting NT, 119 out of 132

Also none of our safeties crack the top 75

 

fits what we’ve seen all year.

I feel like the nfl needs some excitment lately not just the panthers it just feels like its going to be a long long offseason of is young ok or is he going to be a bust with nothing else to discuss.

This is why I think we may be incentivized to trade back in the draft. 

Those 6th and 7th round guys are at least NFL caliber guys if you draft decently. We have a lot of non-NFL guys playing, and certainly across the depth chart. Those late round picks will be more valuable to a team such as ours.

Shy Tuttle was never a good signing and like always they doubled down on the terrible signing by restructuring his contract last year

 

That first number is cap hit and last number is dead money

Keep him until the draft, unless you can trade him for a 5th rounder or something, and then release him if we can address the position with a rookie.

According to this our best player this past season was Damien Lewis when compared to other teams across the league, and he was only the 13th best guard in the league. 

Our team blows chunks.

You guys are surprised by this? Most of us have been telling you all along that this team has a serious lack of talent all across the team. It will not improve that much next season. They have a long way to go.

Definitely not going to improve a ton on the Defensive side as we kept the same coach.

Look for marginal defensive improvements at best. The offense can be decent if we add another playmaker.
