1st. Tyler Warren

2nd. Best free safety on the board

Warren fills 3 needs on offense... outside of Carter and the safety from South Carolina, Warren is plug and play. The others could work their way into the lineup but have mini obstacles. He is an alpha and  to me,  is a Bigger and stronger Brock Bowers.  I like Walker but don't need our 1st pick behind the 8 ball bc of depth or injuries. The 1st pick has to start n contribute this year. We missed on Brooks and leggette being ready out the gate, can't do it again.

Trade back unless Hunter, or Abdul Carter are available. I’m warming up to the Tyler Warren pick in the 1st. Just not sure I like that pick at 8? If I knew we could trade back to 15-18 and still get him while adding a late 2nd or early 3rd third, that would be ideal for me.

If McMillan played for Purdue, no one on here would be interested in him.

if Abdul Carter played for the Colorado Mines Orediggers no one on here would be interested in him.

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
