The odds make us easy targets for this crap. It's the new normal until they prove otherwise.

Yeah, parting ways with Thomas and Sanders is classic roster addition by subtraction. They can be replaced for a lot less cap space with waiver wire FAs or day three draft picks.

I like this, every time we are dubbed to win the preseason it gets worse. Also there isn’t really much room for things to get worse…don’t see it happening.
 

Like the past several years averages like 4 wins or so? So we are talking getting worse like 3 wins instead of 4? What a catastrophe lol

I personally like all the moves we did on defense...

Got some beef in the middle, a fast, hard hitting, instinctive safety, resigned our CBs, added a depth DE, a tackling machine at ILB....

Ugggh like WTF else you want DM to do? trade for Hendrickson? Parson? That's be dope but not happening!

Actually being worse seems highly unlikely.

Only improving marginally however is a very real possibility with this franchise. If you know the Panthers in and out then you know this. How many offseasons have we "won" in the past? Can't blame anyone for wanting to see results first. That's just the reputation that has been created under this ownership.

The goal of building a team is to find complementary parts which when put together are greater than their individual parts alone. Each year the team is different based on its composition and how well they work together. Just the fact that the offensive players have a year in the system as well as Canales has a year of experience as head coach will make them better. And how do you make the worse defense in history worse by adding upgrades at several positions. Brown being back alone is worth a few less points surrendered. 

No, we are going to be improved this year. How much is up for debate.

its no way they are worse, they moved from being the worse defense in the history of the NFL to being like 20th.

Hard to think we got worse. If Bryce stays healthy i have to think we win 2-3 more games this year. than last. I know we are contenders but hoping for .500 football.
