And it's why they have no receiving corps. Paying QBs big money makes you make hard choices. Paying an absolutely TRASH tier RT big money further limits your options. LOL

Their receiving corps has not performed well because they have drafted poorly.  Or the guys they drafted haven't really gotten the hang of it yet.  But over the last three drafts, they have spent a first and two seconds on their receivers, with not much to show for it.  Worthy did play well at times last year, and was probably their best offensive player in the Superbowl, so they might improve in that regard.

I don't have an issue whatsoever with investment in the trenches as long as it is done intelligently. We just need to make sure we're developing depth along the line too. And Center is next up on the *need to address* pecking order after this season.

When your QB weighs 200 lbs when soaking wet, then yea, you better put a ton of money in front of him

I'd argue it doesn't matter how big your QB is. Put a ton of money in front of him. We made that mistake once already.

Rice, Worthy, Royals is a good young core.

I have no problem spending on the oline. If C doesn't solidify and Moton doesn't stay healthy then it may be the most expensive but not the best oline which wouldn't be good. That unit has plenty to prove too.

Bryce has no excuses. His butt better be a Pro Bowler and have us in the playoffs.   Yes, his supporting cast is good enough too....maybe not household names. but they aren't chopped liver either.

To be fair Rice looked like an absolute star at wr from about week 11 of 23 until he got hurt this year.  Thats a bummer

Not one complaint spending on the oline.  Nor do I begrudge rolling with Motons cap hit this year.  It’s a necessary move to free us up going forward.

Pretty sure nobody's expecting to hear me complain about prioritizing large men who are also ugly...

...nor should they be.
