Amazed packers didn't find Parsons injury

Packers LB Micah Parsons has been dealing with an L4/L5 facet joint sprain in his back and he may take an epidural injection prior to Sunday’s game vs. the Lions if needed to help him play, per sources.

Before trading Parsons last week, the Cowboys prescribed him a five-day plan of an anti-Inflammatory corticosteroid, a prednisone to help him recover from back tightness. They also had him on a physical therapy program.
 
Parsons has been practicing this week and he is trying to play in Sunday’s opener vs. the Lions, though one source said it still is uncertain if he will.

Doubt it would have changed anything. The opportunity to get a top player at a premium position at his age is so rare.

Im sure he had to pass a physical as part of the deal. The Packers had to have known to pay a price that high. If they didn't, there's no lemon law in the NFL.

Are trades like these not pending a physical? It was public knowledge he was dealing with an injury at some level regardless so no one with the Packers can plead ignorance altogether.

This wasn't unknown to the public. It was covered previous to the trade and going back to June in the media. So the Packers would know. 

It probably just isnt considered significant.
