All this talking and it’s simple, as an average fan he is horrendous to watch play the game of football.  As an average fan I can give 2 sh!s about his NFL average arm that can’t read defenses.  And as an average NFL fan my eyes tell me he just flat out sucks!

singned, average NFL fan

It ain’t hard, you don’t need a mountain of convoluted stats to explain what you are looking at.

Great, then you design your own quarterback metric, write your own algorithm for it, scrape years of statistics, code your own website, and post it. Let's see your intelligence at work.

So, tell me, what do your fancy QB metric and algorithm say about Bryce as of late?

Where the wobbly passes and tip toe even if not needed throws come from.

Looks at his legs in the pocket his knees and feet are all over the place.

Then he keeps wanting to make all arm pass like he don't need a strong throwing base, but his arm is on the weaker side.

It's more than clear the play caller don't trust him so the whole game plan is handicapped from the start.

Bottom line....can he throw the ball down field with velocity and read the defense, can he be accurate and can he see the whole field, and can he improvise when the poo hits the fan.....

No, No, and No

JT says it better than me: "This is a ***ing laser. . .This for all the guys who say he can't make all the throws. That's the throw."

Does he do this every snap? No. But to say that he can't drive the ball downfield is categorically false by any standard.

Can only throw lasers if

1. The base is set, which he still doesn’t do after 3 years

2. Decisive.  Which he isn’t and that allows the nfl, uber fast, defensive backs to close on any throw he makes   This isn’t Bama anymore

honestly, sick of his flaws and adapting to them, find a guy for which so much adaptation isn’t needed….over and over again…every single freaking sunday

It’s a lot easier when you’re surrounded by the best players in the country week in and week out against teams that don’t have that luxury. It’s like playing schoolyard pick’em ball when you get to pick your entire team first.

    • Just going off the draft sims and he's always sitting around 20 lol. First year in a while where we haven't been thinking about the draft already in late October so haven't really looked into the top 15-20 picks yet. Also the qb class is super weak so he probably will sneak up into 10-15
    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
